XIT Museum

XIT Museum is at 108 E. Fifth St. across from the courthouse. The XIT Ranch was once a working ranch of more than 3 million acres. Museum exhibits include a 1900 chapel, parlor, bedroom and kitchen; a chuck box; an antique switchboard; an antique gun collection; displays of wildlife common to the area; and works by Texas artists.

Guided tours are available. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
