Trinity River Audubon Center

Trinity River Audubon Center, 6500 Great Trinity Forest Way, comprises 120 acres of hardwood forest and is home to 5 miles of nature trails, a children's garden and a variety of flora and fauna. The center's LEED-certified building was constructed with locally sourced materials and features energy-efficient heating, cooling, ventilation and electrical systems; a vegetated roof; and a rainwater collection system. Educational and recreational opportunities include guided hikes, birding classes, outdoor education, day camps, camping, kayak river adventures and owl prowls.

Guided tours are available. Recreational activities are permitted. Picnicking is permitted. Food is available. Time: Allow 2 hours minimum.
