Old Nacogdoches University Building

Old Nacogdoches University Building is on Washington Sq. at 55 N. Mound St. Completed in 1858, this is the only surviving structure of an institution of higher learning chartered by the Republic of Texas. The university building now is a house museum with antique furniture and silver.
