There's something very satisfying about a simple but hot juicy burger and that's what I can count on here. I always stop by when I'm passing through.

Classic. Baylor students, day-trippers going between Austin and Dallas, and locals, too, have been patronizing this institution since it was established in 1948. Clearly they have to be doing something right. Some may say it's the burger; most agree it's really the shakes. Toasted marshmallow, butterscotch, strawberry cheesecake and peanut butter are just a few options. The interior is tiny, so time your visit.
