Museum of the San Rafael, 70 North 100 East, has artifacts found in Emery County's caves and rock ledges. Visitors can see dinosaur skeletons, a replica of a fossilized dinosaur egg and rocks from throughout Utah. Also displayed are mounted animals depicted in their natural habitat and such Native American artifacts as the Sitterud Bundle, a knapsack dating from 1250 that was used to hold berries, knives and tools. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
Hours: Mon.-Fri. 10-4, Sat. 10-2. Closed major holidays.
