Museum of the San Rafael and Pioneer Museum, 70 North 100 East, displays artifacts discovered at Emery County's caves and rock ledges. Visitors can see dinosaur skeletons, a replica of a fossilized dinosaur egg and rock specimens from throughout Utah. Other exhibits include mounted animals depicted in their natural habitats, a handcart once used by a local farmer to transport produce to mining camps and Native American artifacts like the Sitterud Bundle, a knapsack dating from around 1250 that was used to hold berries, knives and tools.
