Pros: Location is great. Lots of activities on the premises such as, hiking, horseback riding, ATV rentals, game room, horse shoes and fire pit. Also has a good restaurant and gift shop on location. Strawberry lake is only about a five minute drive which has boat rentals and fishing.
Cons: A member of the staff at the front desk was obviously not meant to be in the hospitality industry. She was not pleasant and seemed almost confrontational when asked for basic things (an extra blanket). We learned quickly to not approach her for information on the area or the amenities. Same went for the restaurant. The person (early 20's) who sat us at our table was very tired and stressed. We overheard her complaining on multiple occasions to other staff and a customer that she had been there all day. She threw the menus on the table along with some water (which spilled) then walked off. We are still planning a second trip.
