Hill Aerospace Museum, e. of I-15 exit 338 at Hill Air Force Base, displays aircraft, missiles, engines, bombs and other weapons in more than 100 indoor and outdoor exhibits. Among the dozens of military aircraft showcased are a B-1 bomber, a B-17 bomber, a B-29 Superfortress, a B-52 bomber, a C-47 cargo plane, a C-119 Flying Boxcar, an HH-3 Jolly Green Giant helicopter and an SR71 Blackbird. Changing films include the story of the recovery and restoration of a P-38 airplane that crashed in Alaska. Picnicking is permitted.

Hours: Mon.-Sat. 9-4:30. Closed Jan. 1, July 4, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas. Phone ahead to confirm schedule. Allow 2 hours minimum.
