Utah State University Botanical Center is at 920 South 50 West. The 100-acre site features a wildflower meadow; a variety of themed gardens, including butterfly and teaching gardens; walking and bicycling trails; and an arboretum. Wetlands shelter such wildlife as great blue herons and terns.
Ponds are stocked with largemouth bass, bluegill and channel catfish, and fishing is permitted. At the Utah House, a demonstration and education center, visitors can learn about sustainable living, which aims to reduce an individual's or society's use of the Earth's natural resources.
Recreational activities are permitted. Time: Allow 2 hours minimum.
