Ogden Nature Center, 966 W. 12th St., is a nature preserve and community education center featuring hands-on exhibits as well as native Utah animals and nonreleasable birds of prey. The grounds, gardens and ponds provide shelter and natural habitat for various birds, insects and small mammals. The 152-acre site also has 1.5 miles of easy walking trails, two tree houses, two green buildings and an observation tower.
Picnicking is permitted. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
