Clark Planetarium is at 110 South 400 West. The Hansen Dome contains high-resolution projectors that take visitors on a simulated trip through the universe. The Museum and Exhibit Hall has a Foucault pendulum, a rotating relief globe, a large lunar hemisphere, a sphere movie screen and photographic transparencies. The IMAX Theater offers various 3-D science and nature films. The planetarium also features hands-on exhibits and laser concerts.
Planetarium and museum free. Hansen Dome or IMAX Theater $9; $7 (ages 0-12 and to all at matinees). Parking: $1 (3 hours).
Hours: Planetarium and museum Sun.-Wed. 10:30-7, Thurs. 10:30-10; Fri.-Sat. 10:30 a.m.-11 p.m. Star and laser show times vary; phone ahead for schedule. Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas. Closes at 4 on Christmas Eve.
