Discovery Gateway Children’s Museum

Discovery Gateway Children’s Museum is at 444 West 100 South. The contemporary interactive discovery center, encompassing more than 60,000 square feet on three floors, provides families with hands-on exhibits and workshops. Visitors explore the world of STEAM (science, technology, engineering art and mathematics), art and humanities.

Activities include “piloting” a Life Flight helicopter, performing iPad-enabled operations in the kid-sized Primary Children’s Hospital, building giant structures with Imagination Playground blocks, creating derby cars and racing them on a 37-foot all-aluminum track, and exploring a 1,600-square-foot play space.
