Discovery Gateway: The Children’s Museum of Utah is at 444 West 100 South. The contemporary interactive discovery center, encompassing more than 60,000 square feet on three floors, provides families with hands-on exhibits and workshops. Visitors explore the world of STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics), art and humanities. Activities include "piloting" a Life Flight helicopter, performing iPad-enabled operations in the kid-sized Primary Children’s Hospital, delivering mail in a kids' town, building a model house and testing its ability to withstand an earthquake and creating an animated film.
