Family History Library is at 35 N. West Temple St. The library, founded in 1894, is one of the world's largest genealogical libraries. The collection focuses mainly on the United States, Canada, the British Isles and Europe, including Scandinavia, but there are growing records for other areas of the world. Records date 1550-1920. Research tools include microfilm, microfiche, periodicals, computers and reference books.

Hours: Tues.-Fri. 8 a.m.-9 p.m., Mon. 8-5, Sat. 9-5. Phone ahead to confirm schedule around holidays. Closed major holidays.
