Utah Museum of Fine Arts is on the University of Utah campus in the Marcia and John Price Museum Building at 410 Campus Center Dr. The permanent collection encompasses some 19,000 paintings, photographs, sculpture and other art objects from around the world—from the art of Utah and the West to the work of internationally acclaimed contemporary artists. A variety of public programs are scheduled year-round. Guided tours are available. Food is available. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
$14; $12 (ages 6-18, ages 65+ and out-of-state higher education students); $5 (Wed. after 5); free (higher education students in Utah with ID, military with ID and their dependents, and to all on the first Wed. and third Sat. of the month).
Hours: Tues.-Fri. 10-5 (also Wed. 5-8), Sat.-Sun. 11-5. Closed major holidays. Phone ahead to confirm schedule.
