Offering extensive whiskey, wine and beer pairings, hand-crafted beer and habit-forming bourbon-bacon-caramel popcorn, the 72-foot-long cherry-wood bar and floor-to-ceiling bottles of whiskey make a jaw-dropping first impression. Menu favorites are the polenta logs served with braised short ribs topped with a seasoned flash-fried soft-boiled egg, corn crab chowder, pork-chop-confit-stuffed tomato dressed with bourbon-apricot compote and braised pork belly corn dogs. This is not typical pub food; even the grilled shrimp BLT sandwich is served with pancetta and merlot aioli.
