Fremont Indian State Park is 5 mi. s.w. off I-70 exit 17. The 1,784-acre park was established to protect the area's heritage of rock art and archeological sites. A museum interprets the evolution of the Fremont Anasazi Indian culture A.D. 500-1300 and displays artifacts and pictographs taken from nearby Five Fingers Hill.
Pets on leash are allowed. Recreational activities are permitted. Camping is permitted. Picnicking is permitted. Food is available. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
