Springville Museum of Art is at 126 E. 400 South. The museum has six galleries containing works by Utah painters, sculptors and printmakers from 1850 to the present, and seven galleries housing changing exhibitions. The museum, said to be Utah's oldest art museum, contains a collection of Soviet socialist realist paintings and the Utah Photographic Art Reference Archive, which documents the history of Utah art. The museum grounds contain sculptures. Museum tours and a research library are available.
Hours: Tues.-Sat. 10-5 (also Wed. 5-9), Sun. 3-6 (also first Mon. of the month 6-8 p.m. except when it falls on a holiday). Closed major holidays.
