Strong Mansion Museum is 1 mi. n. of Crown Point Bridge at 6656 SR 17W. Built in 1795, the mansion is a restored, two-story Federal-style brick house—once home to a Revolutionary War patriot and his family—that contains period room displays. The grounds are accented by Colonial herb and perennial gardens. Guided tours are available. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
$5; $3 (ages 62+ and students with ID); $10 (family).
Hours: Guided tours Sat.-Sun. 10-5, Memorial Day weekend-Labor Day; by appointment mid-May through day before Memorial Day and day after Labor Day to mid-Sept. Last tour begins 1 hour before closing.
