Pros: The staff friendly. The 2 bed suite is large & comfortable for a family. We prepared dinner in the room. The kitchen is well stocked, pots, pans, dishes, etc. The dishwasher was nice as well. The hotel is located out of the city and is very quiet.
Cons: nothing

A frustrating stay in Burlington
Pros: When we were given a room at the Residence on the second day of our stay it was a very good upgraded room with 2 beds and 2 bathrooms. The location is OK but is a few miles from the centre of Burlington. Breakfast was good.
Cons: We arrived on 14th October to be told that our room was unavailable as the air con unit had flooded the room and no other rooms were available. We were told that everyone else had checked in -although I find this difficult to believe as it was only 4.30 pm. and the email message and phone call which we hadn't picked up as we were driving was timed for just after 3.00 pm. The manager was very apologetic but its not what you want to hear after a 170 mile drive and when you're looking forward to a 2 night stay. We had been booked in at the Baymont Inn ,5+ miles away, which was nowhere near an equivalent hotel. The room was basic and breakfast the next day was very poor and chaotic. We had booked a King Suite at the Residence. The charge at the Baymont was only $30 less than at the Residence. We had to pack again and move to the Residence the next day. The only compensation for the inconvenience and very poor alternative accommodation was the upgrade to a 2 bedroom suite which was fine but nowhere near sufficient to compensate. Although the manager was apologetic and helpful she was clearly unable to offer any financial recompense which would have gone some way to make up for this very frustrating and annoying experience.
