St. Albans Historical Museum, 9 Church St., is in a renovated 1861 three-story brick schoolhouse. The museum exhibits quilts, clothing, china, glass, dolls, maps, photographs, Revolutionary and Civil War relics, and information about the St. Albans Raid of 1864. Other collections feature railroad memorabilia, children's toys and medical antiques. An interactive, narrated diorama depicts the history of St. Albans and the Lake Champlain region.
