Upscale thematic decor leaves a lasting impression. My favorite is the Lodge room, which has an exquisite steam shower and a regal Egyptian-style bed.
AAA Inspector Notes
Set in the lovely Mad River Valley, this inn offers individually decorated rooms with plenty of personality and luxurious appointments. Some rooms feature a balcony overlooking the river. The rustic yet elegant lower level includes a small bar and several seating areas with oversize couches and chairs. In warmer months, grapes grown in the backyard are used to make the jams and sauces for breakfast as well as for the fine dining restaurant. Dogs are the only pets permitted in the inn.
