Fort Christian Virgin Island Museum

Fort Christian Virgin Island Museum stands on the waterfront near Emancipation Garden Park. The red masonry structure once housed the entire St. Thomas colony. Built by the Danes in 1672, it has been reconstructed several times. Several cells display a collection of Arawak and Carib artifacts and items relating to the early Danish settlers.
