Frank Lloyd Wright's Pope-Leighey House is on the grounds of Woodlawn Plantation, 9000 Richmond Hwy. (US 1). Commissioned in 1939 by Loren Pope, a journalist in Falls Church, the Usonian house was designed by Wright and exhibits many of the significant contributions he made to contemporary architecture. The house also contains original furnishings designed by the architect.
Guided tours are available. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
