Disappointing

The hotel is expensive for absolutely no other reason except the location & the name. However, I have stayed in far better quality hotels with nicer staff members in the exact same location; paying the same price if not less, the hotel is beautiful in the lobby but the rooms are mediocre, the staff are incompetent and rude. Housekeeping only cleans if you leave a card on the bed; yet, if you don't see that upon arrival, you don't know because staff does not tell you. I was made to pay a $200 deposit at check in & then was told at check out my deposit should've only been $100. The hotel is by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed in, as it relates to the number of stars associated with the hotel.
Pros: I appreciated the decor of the hotel, as well as the different things they had available to do. (I.e. The pool, the restaurant on the 14th floor, & the stores in the lobby)
Cons: I did not like impoliteness of the staff, the fact that the hotel charged for everything (I.e. Parking, local phone calls, wifi, coffee). I also was told that there was not a deposit; however at check in I was charged $--- per night & an extra $50 for

Pros: Good customer service, good price. I liked the little market where I was able to get an egg and cheese breakfast sandwich for $6.99. In-room coffee maker was a nice touch.Free shuttle to mall and airport make it worth staying here.
Cons: Not as close to the Metro as I hoped. Wanted to check in early but refused to pay $25 early check in fee.
