Pros: Beds were incredibly comfortable and the carpets showed great signs of cleaning and care. The lobby had fun music and a beautiful bar area with nice lounge. Food was very good though not astounding. Easy walking access to restaurants and grocery store nearby though this is a business and hotel district so not much other activity in the immediate vicinity.
Cons: Why is it 2016 and we're still paying for WIFI? This hotel is too expensive for paid WIFI. I'm also unsure as to how I paid $12 for two cans of ginger ale brought to my room when I was ill-- no glasses, no ice, no tray, $12.

Pros: I was there for conference. My three meals from the catering service was amazingly good!
Cons: The soundproofing in the room was poor. I heard the noise from my next door two nights in a row. It happened to my friend at the other floor too. Needed to pay for the WIFI in the room.

Pros: My flight got cancelled several times in the day and when I got to the hotel Pedro at the front desk went out of his way to make me feel like positive. I hadn't eaten and in the morning I had to check out at 5 a.m. He went and got me two large muffins and a slice of bread so that I didn't have to worry about breakfast.
Cons: Catching the shuttle was confusing. They didn't tell me you had to catch the South Loop Shuttle and they failed to mention that the Shuttle was marked with Marriot. So I ended up waiting for over 50 minutes for what was supposed to be a 15 minute wait.
