Pros: Easy to park. Walk to restaurants. AC was good and not too noisy. Clean.
Cons: Bathroom was too small.
Pros: Friendly staff
Pros: Friendly helpful staff. Studio room was very spacious and well equipped with full size fridge, dishes, pots, cups, glasses, silverware. Very quiet room. The complimentary breakfast buffet was the best we ever had in a hotel.
Cons: The air-conditioning was a bit noisy.
Pros: Helpful friendly staff at breakfast and at the front desk; convenient location; kitchenette and general room size; bathroom had its own fan; sink separated from toilet/shower area; thermostat was easy to set and responsive; having the swimming pool was a nice extra.
Cons: The price was obviously raised because it was one of UVA's reunion weekends.
Check your rate before they...
Pros: The close proximity to John Paul Jones arena as well great places to eat.
Cons: That I was quoted $198 from booking. Com and was cherged $269 by tge hotel.... Not cool.
Better places to stay in...
Pros: Breakfasts were good. Staff very pleasant and helpful.
Cons: Too expensive for what you get. With those room rates there should be a bar and/or a restaurant on site. Furniture seemed old and tired. Place needs a makeover. Location so so. Nothing to walk to unless you like shopping malls. The nightly socials are a nice idea in theory but the conviviality seemed forced and artificial.
Pros: walk in shower
Cons: not much thought in the breakfast serving line. each individual canister had a lid that had to be set down and then replaced. the food had individual lids that had to be removed and replaced. the crowd was caused by the lack of ease with which to serve yourself. suggestion. a roll top lid that holds itself while you serve and rolls down when your are thru. Also: put a suitcse stand in the closet. I had no chair or holder for my suitcase. I didn't want to move everything to the drawers.
Pros: Well designed suite
Cons: Milk in pitchers rather than individual cartons
Pros: Helpful staff, pool and cleanliness of room.
Cons: Construction noise. ....couldn't be helped.
Pros: The staff was extremely helpful and the front desk even called to find the restaurants close by open late and brought discount coupons to my room for a restaurant.
Cons: The décor was old and the furniture in the room was dated and old as well.
Pros: excellent location beside the shopping mall and pizza shop
