Northwest River Park is 7.4 mi. s. on Battlefield Blvd. S. (SR 168), then 3.8 mi. e. to 1733 Indian Creek Rd. This 763-acre park on the Northwest River offers natural recreation areas, a fragrance garden for the blind, an equestrian area for horse owners and more than 7 miles of hiking trails. A freshwater lake is stocked with bass, bluegill, crappie, catfish, and trout. Canoes and paddleboats are available for rent.
Pets on leash are allowed. Recreational activities are permitted. Camping is permitted. Picnicking is permitted.
