Danville Museum of Fine Arts & History is at 975 Main St. Built in the Italianate style in 1859 by tobacco merchant Maj. William T. Sutherlin, the museum contains original and period furnishings as well as changing art exhibits. Guided tours are available.
$10; $8 (ages 62+); $4 (students with ID); free (ages 0-6).
Hours: Tues.-Sat. 10-5, Sun. 2-5. Closed major holidays.
