Sky Meadows State Park is 5.1 mi. n. off US 17. This 1,860-acre park offers rolling pastures and woodlands, scenic views, access to the Appalachian Trail, and hiking and horseback riding trails. Hike-in primitive camping is available; reservations are required. Mount Bleak House is furnished to resemble a middle-class farmhouse circa 1860. From mid-April through November tours are offered on weekends and holidays.
Guided tours are available. Pets on leash are allowed. Recreational activities are permitted. Camping is permitted. Picnicking is permitted.
