Natural Tunnel State Park is .4 mi. s. on US 23, then 4.2 mi. e. on Daniel Boone Tr. A 909-foot tunnel has been carved through solid limestone by the waters of Stock Creek. The tunnel emerges in a natural amphitheater measuring more than a half-mile around and rising 400 feet above the tunnel entrance.
Seven trails, one of which leads to the summit of Lover's Leap, weave through the park. The park has a swimming pool, a chairlift, a visitor center that features interpretive exhibits, and a conference center with a re-created blockhouse.
Food is available seasonally.
Pet friendly (call for restrictions/fees.). Recreational activities are permitted. Camping is permitted. Picnicking is permitted.
Hours: Trails 8 a.m.-dusk. Visitor center daily 10-6, Memorial Day-Labor Day; Sat.-Sun. 10-4:30, early May-day before Memorial Day and day after Labor Day-late Oct. Chairlift daily 10-6, Memorial Day-Labor Day. Pool daily 10-6, Memorial Day weekend-Labor Day. Allow 1 hour minimum.
