Natural Tunnel State Park is .4 mi. s. on US 23, then 4.2 mi. e. on Daniel Boone Tr. A 909-foot tunnel has been carved through solid limestone by the waters of Stock Creek. The tunnel emerges in a natural amphitheater measuring more than a half-mile around and rising 400 feet above the tunnel entrance. Seven trails, one of which leads to the summit of Lover's Leap, weave through the park. The park has a swimming pool, a chairlift, a visitor center that features interpretive exhibits, and a conference center with a re-created blockhouse. Food is available seasonally. Pets on leash are allowed. Recreational activities are permitted. Camping is permitted. Picnicking is permitted. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
$3 (per private vehicle Mon.-Fri.); $4 (per private vehicle Sat.-Sun.). Chairlift $3; free (ages 0-5). Pool Mon.-Fri. $4; $3 (ages 3-12). Pool Sat.-Sun. $5; $4 (ages 3-12).
