AAA Editor Notes
Children's Museum of Richmond-Short Pump, 2200 Old Brick Rd., features nine “learning through play” activity zones, including an art studio and a puppet theater. Geared toward children under age 6, the hands-on museum also features two indoor climbing areas—a pirate ship, docked beside the Treasure Island dig site, and the Magic Beanstalk Climber, set amid various farm-themed exhibits. Also popular among pint-size visitors is a miniature train.
