Oatlands Plantation is about 6 mi. s. on US 15 to 20850 Oatlands Plantation Ln. This stately 22-room 1804 mansion combines Federal and Greek Revival styles. The house is furnished with French, English and American art and antiques. Just over 400 of the plantation's original 3,408 acres remain. The grounds retain the original basic design, with more than 4 acres of formal gardens and an 1810 greenhouse. The surrounding fields are the setting for point-to-point races, festivals, dog shows and many other events.
Guided tours are available. Picnicking is permitted.
