Virginia War Museum is at 9285 Warwick Blvd. in Huntington Park. More than 60,000 artifacts document U.S. military history from 1775 to the present. Exhibits include propaganda posters, uniforms, vehicles, weapons and accouterments. The museum also has educational programs, a military history film collection and a research library. Picnicking is permitted. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
$8; $7 (ages 62+ and active military with ID); $6 (ages 7-18). Combination ticket with Endview Plantation and Lee Hall Mansion $21; $18 (ages 62+); $15 (ages 7-18).

Hours: Museum open Mon.-Sat. 9-5, Sun. noon-5. Last admission 30 minutes before closing. Library open by appointment. Closed Jan. 1, Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas.
