Hunter House Victorian Museum is at 240 W. Freemason St. The 1894 Romanesque mansion was built for merchant and banker James Wilson Hunter. The house displays the family’s Victorian furnishings, stained glass windows and a collection of medical memorabilia, including an early 20th-century electrocardiograph machine. Guided tours are available. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
$5; $4 (ages 60+); $1 (ages 6-18).
Hours: Guided tours are given on the hour and half-hour Wed.-Sat. 10-3:30, Sun. 12:30-3:30, Apr.-Dec. Closed major holidays.
