Pros: This hotel staff was one of the best I have ever experienced. Everyone was friendly and offered all the help one could reasonably expect. I showed up at 11 am, and the gentleman at the front desk explained that they typically would allow me to check in early, but they had sold out all of their rooms the night before and would not be able to allow me into my room early at this time. He added that he would call me if my room became available before the set check-in time. I really appreciated this because it let me know that he genuinely wanted to allow me to get into my room as soon as possible. No big problem though. There is a lot to do in the area, so I killed some time and returned after the 3pm check-in time had come. The accommodations manager took note of my requests submitted through the booking.com website and added a touch of humor to fulfilling the request. I asked for lavender on my pillow just because I like to ask that of every hotel just to see where they are on a scale of accommodations. The manager provided lavender scented Glade by my bedside with a handwritten note that expressed his apologies for not being able to accommodate my request to a tee. I appreciated the gesture and the humor, as no hotel has ever actually acknowledged such a request in my experience. Housekeeping was all smiles and asked if I needed anything on day 2 out of 3. Honestly, I could not ask for a better staff without getting free stuff. Haha. These guys were amazing, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.
Cons: The view wasn't phenomenal, but I wasn't here for the scenery. My room window faced a bus station and train tracks. There were no bars within walking distance, and the street passing the hotel is very busy. These were small issues when compared to the amazing service provided.
