Diners can revisit the nostalgic 1950s at this great drive-in, which still offers carhops, tasty barbecue sandwiches and old-fashioned soda fountain favorites. A flash of the headlights prompts a carhop into action. They serve up crisp french fries and a delightful banana milkshake. This place has been run by the same family since 1915, and it's famed for inventing the ice cream cone when they ran out of cups at the Coney Island Fair.
