The young owner-chef at this tiny spot has won devoted followers and national press for his fabulous cuisine with Southern and international influences. Reservations are not accepted, so a wait is common but well worth it. The menu is always changing, but some favorites include starters such as pimento cheese and deviled-egg schmear, scallops, whole fish and a great burger for more casual appetites. Don't miss dessert-including chocolate pot de creme and grilled carrot cake.
