Virginia Sports Hall of Fame and Museum, 206 High St., is one of only 16 state sports halls of fame in the country. Visitors can view photographs, plaques, personal equipment and biographical sketches of noted Virginia athletes, past and present. College sports are the focus of the Campus Champions room, and professional sports are represented throughout the museum. Also included are the Virginia Olympians Wall, a basketball court, a sports complex, racing simulators and an exercise room. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
$7; $6 (ages 62+ and military with ID); free (ages 0-2).
