Reedville Fishermen’s Museum is on US 360 in the historic district. The museum comprises the Walker House, a restored fisherman’s home, and the Covington Building. The latter contains two galleries—one showcases the museum's permanent collection and the other offers rotating exhibits. An outdoor display features traditional boats and equipment. Other exhibits include a working boat shop and a model shop with an extensive HO railroad layout. Three restored fishing ships are tied up to the docks. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
$5; $3 (ages 60+); free (ages 0-11).
Hours: Tues.-Sat. 10:30-4:30, May-Oct.; Sat. 10:30-4:30, Sun. 1-4, mid-Mar. through Apr. 30 and Nov. 1 to mid-Jan. Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas. Phone ahead to confirm schedule.
