RVA Segway Tours departs from 1301 E. Cary St. Guided 1- or 2-hour Segway tours describe Richmond's architectural standouts, including such local landmarks as St. Paul's Episcopal Church, the Federal Reserve building and the Virginia State Capitol. Along the way, guides impart their knowledge of local history as well as fun tidbits, facts and stories about the area. Among the wide variety of special interest tours are the Public Art Tour, the Lincoln's Walk Tour, the Hollywood Cemetery Tour and the Black History Tour.
Guests must arrive 30 minutes before the scheduled tour time for a safety lesson. Comfortable, flat-bottom, closed-toed shoes are recommended. Tours are not recommended for pregnant women.
