Very nice hotel in Richmond's downtown.
Pros: Downtown location and price were great value. Has its own above-ground parking garage.
Cons: The elevators require you to preselect your floor from outside in the hallway, which took some getting used to. They also seemed a bit slow.

Fabulous
Pros:
Cons: We were given a room right by elevator and ice machine. I wandered if because we went through booking and did not pay full price, we were given an inferior room. Also regarding the pool it was quite a disappointment. The pool was very small, there were no water coolers outside, the bar was not open yet, there was no music and towels were inside work out area. The pool was also not very clean. The pool area could have also had umbrellas due to the fact you were on the cement rooftop with no shade. I chose this hotel due to the fact it had a rooftop pool and bar. The bar/restaurant was great but the pool experience was very disappointing.

Nice, basic, affordable accommodations
Pros: The breakfast is great and this property is a fantastic value. The front desk staff was excellent. Courteous and the service was consistently phenomenal. The rooms are clean and well appointed. You're actually pleasantly surprised that the rooms are nicer than some of the common areas.
Cons: The location is a bit sketchy at night if you're a woman traveling alone. Day time is fine, but night time I'd recommend an Uber. The main door to access the main entrance is in a shared hallway with the post-office, which looks dirty and smells a bit rancid. The main restaurant is also off this main hallway, which the small may kill your appetite along the way. Also it closes early. I cam in at 9:26p on a Thursday and the kitchen was already closed.
