This small hotel sits well back from the main road beside a large, grassy field and features attractive rooms and some large king rooms with sleeper sofas.
Smoke free premises. 52 units. 3 stories, interior corridors. Accessibility (Call).
Pros: Location and availability of a room. Price was right. Not the most glamorous of places, but it was a fair value for the money I paid.
Pros: Quick and easy check in
Cons: The room smelled heavily like bleach which was a little nauseating.

We used the AAA discount on the website which gave the hotel the choice of queen room for 2 adults when we arrived. The hotel was nearly empty and I'm sure our room must have been a single handicapped room although we requested a room for two. The bed was fullsized, the room was very dirty and smelled terrible. The bathroom was handicapped accessible and it made me feel badly for a handicapped person if they stayed in this room. We arrived late from 9 hours of driving and were so exhausted when we got there that we went straight to bed so that we could leave early for another day of driving. But we should have complained & asked for another room. We will never trust the discount key on the website again if the hotel discretion is to give you the smallest room they have even though the room was supposed to be for 2 adults with a queen bed.
Pros: The fact they we didn't have to stay another day!

Stay, sleep, repeat
Pros: As a scuba diver, I don't drink anything other than water and only eat bananas and dry toast. The bananas were perfect- I usually only eat green bananas because I don't like really sweet soft bananas.
And, what can you saw about water- cold and wet....
Cons: The distance from Lake Phoenix to the hotel
Smoke, smoke, smoke!!!
Pros: They had a fairly nice breakfast and comfy beds.
Cons: The first room assigned to us was the most disgusting smoke-smelling room in the world. Pretty pathetic for a 100% non-smoking hotel. They were pleasant when we rejected the room and gave us another. It smelled smoky, but nowhere near as bad as the first. There was no other room available and since it was paid for ahead, we had no choice but to stay there. We aired it out and it was rough in 92 degree weather. They probably ought to just have smoking rooms and face reality. If smoke bothers you, I suggest booking it directly with the hotel and paying for it after you check it out.
The other thing was the scalding hot water. No matter what I did in the shower, I couldn't get the water temperature below burning hot.
Cons: The room was extremely dirty
Great for the average business...
Pros: It was a good place for the price I paid. Common area had a comfortable environment to eat breakfast and watch the news. Plenty of newspapers to go around.
Cons: Breakfast food selection could have been better.
