AAA Inspector Notes
This nostalgic diner has been continuously serving since the 1930s. Its namesake is the horseshoe-shaped lunch counter, which was recently given a modern update by new owners. The menu also is a mix of the old and new with favorites such as pimento cheese, burgers using local organic beef or bison, chili, and homemade pies. This is the South, so you can expect deep-fried deliciousness such as fried green tomatoes, fried pickles, fried catfish, and homemade onion rings.
