Three Battles Visitor Center at Chancellorsville is 8 mi. w. of I-95 on SR 3 at 9001 Plank Rd. The center offers a 22-minute film and exhibits about the battles of Chancellorsville, the Wilderness and Spotsylvania Courthouse. A 12-mile driving tour begins at the center with roadside tour markers and informational signs describing the battle. Seasonal walking tours lead to the place where Gen. Thomas J. “Stonewall” Jackson was shot. Guided tours are available. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
Park admission free. Film $2; $1 (ages 62+); free (ages 0-9). CD detailing a 3-hour self-guiding tour $12.95 (to purchase); $4.95 (to rent, with a $20 down payment).
