Hupp's Hill Civil War Park & Museum/Gateway to Shenandoah Visitors Center is off I-81 exit 298, then .5 mi. s. on Old Valley Pike (US 11) at Hupp’s Hill. This 18-acre site played a role in the 1864 Battle of Hupp’s Hill and other campaigns. A half-mile walking trail highlights lunettes and trenches built by Gen. Philip Sheridan’s troops. The museum's exhibits include maps, photographs, original artifacts and hands-on reproductions.
