Prince William Forest Park is accessed by taking I-95 s. to exit 150B, then .2 mi. w. to Joplin Rd. (SR 619). Covering more than 15,000 acres, the park offers hikers more than 37 miles of hiking trails and 21 miles of biking trails. During summer months, park rangers offer interpretive programs. Historic and nature exhibits are displayed at the Visitor Center. Only campers and cabin occupants are admitted after dark, except when there are evening programs. Pet friendly (call for restrictions/fees.). Recreational activities are permitted. Camping is permitted. Picnicking is permitted.
(valid for 7 days) $7 (per private vehicle); $5 (per person arriving by other means).
Hours: Park open daily dawn-dusk. Visitor center open daily 9-5, Mar.-Oct.; 8-4, rest of year. Visitor center closed Jan. 1, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
