Atlantic Wildfowl Heritage Museum, 1113 Atlantic Ave., displays a lovely collection of wildfowl and shorebird carvings, paintings and hunting memorabilia. A skilled decoy carver is typically on-site to answer questions. Artifacts and photographs detailing area history also are presented within the 1895 de Witt Cottage, said to be the oldest standing oceanfront structure in the city.

Hours: Tues.-Sat. 10-5, Sun. noon-5 (also Mon.10-5, Memorial Day weekend-Sept. 30). Closed Jan. 1, Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas and Dec. 31. Allow 30 minutes minimum.
