AAA Editor Notes
Military Aviation Museum, 1341 Princess Anne Rd., showcases one of the largest private collections of World War I, World War II and Korean War-era fighters, bombers and trainers. Motorcycles and other vehicles also are on display, as are uniforms, artwork and engines—all of which are housed in large hangars at the Virginia Beach Airport. An English control tower built in 1940 and a German hangar from 1934 can be seen. Flight demonstrations are offered some days. Featuring biplanes and triplanes, the Warbirds Over the Beach World War II Air Show, a World War I-themed event, takes to the skies the weekend before Memorial Day.

Guided tours are available. Time: Allow 45 minutes minimum.
