Princess Anne County Training School/Union Kempsville High School Museum, at 5100 Cleveland St. in the Renaissance Academy, chronicles the history of the county's first high school for African-Americans. Built in 1938, the original four-room building was known as the Princess Anne County Training School; in 1962, following several expansions, the facility was renamed Union Kempsville High School. It closed in 1969 when citywide integration of schools began in Virginia Beach.
Memorabilia, video clips and interactive exhibits discuss the impact of PACTS/UKHS on the community.
